Brief Biography
Shane is a son of the Caribbean soil who currently resides in Toronto. He has over fifteen (15) years’ experience in the social services field having worked extensively in not for profit sector and within government setting in the areas of Program and Policy Development, Child Rights Advocacy, Gender Based Violence Intervention Programs, Diversity and Inclusion, Change & Strategic Management, Community development and Volunteer Engagement among others.
He is a prolific and ardent speaker and an experienced personal Life Coach; He is also a UN Consultant and has conducted trainings in the Caribbean, North, South, Central America, Europe, Asia and recently Africa. He is past executive member of the Caribbean Male Action Network (CARIMAN) and currently serves as a Steering Committee Member of the North American Men Engage (NAMEN) and alternate Board Member of the Global MenEngage Network. He is the Managing Director of New Journey Consulting Inc. and holds an associate degree in Social Sciences, an undergraduate degree in Social Work and an MBA with specialization in Human Resource Development.
