Why Donate to NAMEN?

The North American MenEngage Network (NAMEN) is a network of the individual practitioners and activists, and organizational efforts in the US and Canada working to mobilize men and boys to promote gender equality. NAMEN is membership organization that primarily works to develop the field and support the grassroots work that is being done. 

Through your generosity, NAMEN is able to provide more resources, supports, and tools to the practitioners, activists and organizational efforts that work throughout the US and Canada to engage and mobilize men to achieve gender equality. Donating $100, for example, helps us to provide a 2-hour webinar on strategies and efforts to effectively engage men; or covers 2 hours of our policy advocacy efforts.  

NAMEN currently:

• Offers a “Communities of Practice” where we facilitate a topical “community” to develop skills, share resources, and increase confidence in some aspect of engaging men and boys.

• Engages in Policy Advocacy and the development of capacities and confidence to engage in policy advocacy (both foreign and domestic). NAMEN is currently the only pro-feminist men’s organization in the US that engages men in the policy advocacy spaces. 

• Facilitates a regional network (KY, IN, OH, and TN), and exploring ways to roll this out further.

• Provides training for Early Childhood Educators on Developing Healthy Boys.

• Sharing of tools and resources on male engagement.

Connects practitioners and organizations in the US and Canada with the Global movement through the Global MenEngage Alliance. Thank-you for helping us make a greater impact!
